How to represent an X/Y mood data to a user within a very small space (32x32)?
I like this concept. Maybe a "moodline" (feeling up and down), where up will be thicker, and down thinner, to show intensity. With a dotted gray middle-line to see the difference. If there is insufficient data, the line could be gray in the middle. For actual data use colors (Red-Green, like traffic lights)
