Is it good practice to force users to give us their email address before showing them our site? NOT looking for arguments, I believe in positive discussion to better things than - IM RIGHT YOUR WRONG - or we go round in circles however I purposely omit stats/ research articles unless a response asks for one to back things up so that people can get a real world/ consumer view of the things they've asked about |

Is it good practice to force users to give us their email address before showing them our site? Sorry Jon but not so. I tend to write my responses in a "real world" format eg: this is what "average joe" finds annoying, likeable, etc. This I accept may cause some confusing as I respond in average joe ways. However if you refer to user feedback from the likes of "Sitel" a user feedback company used by such blue chip clients as Sony VodaFone, Boeing, Lufthansa, Hilton Hotel Group & many many more across the globe you will find that my response stated both valid responses & beliefs held by your average joe. Sorry if my language wasn't what you liked but the data/ response IS valid |
