How to gently lock a form when user is still typing (after finished countdown)?
Show the time to users at all times? Are you kidding me? This would be the most off-putting thing ever for people that hate the time and its ever-marching seconds while trying to concentrate on their writing. Let me put it in simple terms: If you intend to show remaining time, then please do so only on explicit user request! Like parking the pointer in some corner of the screen, keeping an option box ticked, etc.
