Should “Like us on Facebook” be a required field on a form? More data/opinion is almost always better; but I think the gut feeling you get that this would irritate most users is dead on. |

Should “Like us on Facebook” be a required field on a form? I like Ben Brockas answer, but wanted to add: Would you personally accept this? If this form is asking for customer support, or some other likewise need, this may just be adding insult to injury. If it is requesting additional information, maybe, but still pretty awful to my mind. |
