comment Mobile Web: Remember Me Checkbox?
IMO it's a matter of security. If your cellphone was loaded with all your passwords (like, the banking one ...) and the cellphone is more exposed to theft or loss then it would be a real threat. The newer devices, with fingerprint readers might change the future of the mobile "remember me" thing.

comment Best way to communicate “tap anywhere to continue”
The issue might solve if, instead of thinking of it as a returning action (which would be solved by the usual return arrow) think of it as a the forward step it really is, like "play again" and devise the right artifact.

comment What's the rationale behind Google's “no save” approach?
I vaguely remember to have seen that Ctrol+s saves the current state of the document, in case you wanted to do so.

Additionally, to enable concurrent edition (more than one user editing the same document), it must be permanently "saved" so the others can see your updates in real time. (oops! this is better explained in @Rayraegah's answer)

comment Should a toggle button show its current state or the state to which it will change?
@supercat: you are right, for the cases where the immediate behaviour doesn't provide immediate feedback. On the other hand, it is really nice to be able to alternate stop and play of a video without repositioning the mouse, like in youTube. Different cases would require adequate solutions.

comment Best practice for no records found?
As I see it (without beint a native English speaker) the word "records" in an IT context means the parts that make a computer file, but it also has a meaning to normal people like when somebody says "let me check my records", that is similar to the computer file related meaning but is not IT specific. So I'll go with the generic "no records found".

comment Should I avoid changing a “clunky” UI?
@Gutblender: before doing anything I'd check if this behavior is really annoying for the users, or it annoys me and only me.

comment Is this rotating cube interface user-friendly?
I think the cube should rotate much faster, to give the user more opportunities to enter data. This would allow to add more fields to the form!
