Should we be aware of bandwidth concerns given recent data-plan pricing changes? this is something to be considered for non-mobile sites as well! In canada at least, a lot of the major internet providers are capping bandwidth. It's not hard at all to go through 2 gb in a month. I used 250 mb in 4 days. and i wasn't streaming anything, just uploading a few images and spending time on facebook. |

What do you do when you have too many choices in a checkbox field set? i think this is a much more usable approach then the list boxes. |

Should radio options be displayed vertically or horizontally? none does make sense, they want to find all the rows who's first name isn't bob and last name isn't bobbins. but if you mean as a sentence, it doesn't read well, i agree. |

Recomendation for choosing a start date / month i like this idea. the places where this would be used would very rarely be a far future or far past date, but you make a good point about that. a logical default date is a great point as well, in some cases the current month would be right, in others last month, but that is a logic problem for me to solve not a ui problem :) thanks for the help! |

Recomendation for choosing a start date / month while an interesting idea, i'm not sure it falls under keeping it consistent (it's even less like the regular datepicker) or keeping it easy to use. hmmm |

Recomendation for choosing a start date / month i don't need a range, i need a month and year! i do use the date range picker in other parts of my project though. It is a good tool, but completely wrong for this interface. |

Is having more then 1 label for a form element really against web accessibility guidelines? that you so much for the great answer Ben! looks like i'll have to make some changes. I think i will change it to using a span for the "dd/mm/yyyy" "label" and keep the regular label as a label. it'll invlove changing the plugin quite a bit, but that's ok. do you know if having a described-by attribute pointing to the span, along with the label would be a good idea? |

Is having more then 1 label for a form element really against web accessibility guidelines? I wish i had access to jaws, unfortunately, it's about $1000, no room in the budget for that. the text inside the field for dates shows the format ie: dd/mm/yyyy or dd-mm-yyyy or whatever the locale specific format is. using html 5 isn't really an option b/c IE doesn't support most of it. |

Is having more then 1 label for a form element really against web accessibility guidelines? it's an html <label>, which as i understand the screen readers will read to you when the input has focus. |

Best Design/Order/Layout For Mailing Address Form that is a pretty cool tool! though it came up with about 20 options for the 2nd address i tested, and having to search a list and the extra clicks isn't really any less annoying then having to fill out a form with a couple text boxes and 2 drop downs. it also failed on my own address. not allowing for my unit # in a townhouse complex. |
