comment Should a toggle button show its current state or the state to which it will change?
@ThomasAhle Provided that the checkbox is labelled "correctly" (i.e., with a label that describes what the checkbox toggles) and the option is a Boolean style choice, I'd say that it is on par with two radio buttons. E.g., toggling "portrait / landscape" does not lend itself to a checkbox since the inverse is never mentioned. "Run at start-up", on the other hand, would work nicely since the checkbox state conveys the choice in either case.

comment Where are the most optimal places to put laptop speakers?
@André It was just a comment on the wording :) Saying "most optimal" is like saying "most best." A solution can still be optimal given a set of restrictions, limitations, etc. However, no solution is "more optimal" than another. It can be better and even optimal, but not more optimal. That's all :)

There is no such thing as "most optimal"; it's either optimal or not :)

comment Toggle Buttons “Turn On” vs “Enable”
Only partially related, but you may find it interesting: Should a toggle button show its current state or the state to which it will change?
