Mobile application navigation setup We'd like to know how one can set up the app navigation to suit both needs? I don't think there is one best option if you have two types of users? |

Print options dialog But what do you do then when you have to send an order confirmation to the customer and you want a paper copy of it for yourself? You execute two commands for the same document? And what do you do when you have an order, and you can print an order confirmation or a delivery note for it? Also specific print settings have to be made, this is done through an extra modal dialog then? |

Print options dialog I can follow what you say in your second part. It is possible for reports, supposed that the data what you see is also the report data. I guess we could solve this with a reporting module, combined with in-form navigation to the reports that have a relation with the current form being used. |

Print options dialog This should be a generic approach to printing/running jobs in our erp application. The print functionality is widely spread in the application, so multiple users will use it at certain moments. We want to serve the same layout each time they have to print. For almost every print action, we have paramters to preset the print settings. We could combine this with a general parameter (per user). Prints could be part of a workflow (eg purchase confirmation), or report generation (not part of a workflow, e.g. purchases per supplier). Email is used to get the result of the print or job. |

List of values vs radio button group vs drop-down list Indeed, I don't think this is a less good alternative. The only thing is that it is used along with radio button groups and comboboxes, there is not a guideline for it now. What is better used in some cases? In one form, we have now a combination of radio buttons, comboboxes and this alternative. Is it just enough to choose one or can we set some kind of guidelines? |

Sorting options in list with choices I've gotten this question from an analyst who asked me if important options would not be less far if they were on the bottom. I had my doubts, as you state it too, a list is read top to bottom. It will only take the user longer to get there? |

Alignment of dates/dateparts in grids A user can edit data in a grid. So it is not really for sort alone. |
