Are age verification banners effective? My favorite was leisure suit larry games approach. Where it would ask a series of age appropriate questions. It kept me out when I was 10 years old. Google "leisure suit larry age verification questions" |

Do people prefer to read text on plain not gradient backgrounds (particularly on printed media) Good question - that is exactly what I would like to know also. As snook.ca/technical/colour_contrast/colour.html shows my design fails all the compliance test. Light grey background with dark grey text. It is hard to read on screen, but I feel when printed it will be easier. |

Do people prefer to read text on plain not gradient backgrounds (particularly on printed media) yes - I do not have access to a printer. So I wanted to know once it is printed will it be readable. Or are there inherent issues that make gradients appear jaggard or too distracting for people to read the text. i.e are people going to be happier to have a plain background |

After registering should the user be sent to the page they came from or to a welcome page? Not releated to UX but from a security point of view if you do redirect users please remember to validate the URL you redirect them to owasp.org/index.php/… |
