What I'm asking is whether there are any additional general guidelines to consider when setting up a wiki to make it more user-friendly. |

I have considered using Wikimedia but I just wanted to know whether there were any other precautions one could take when setting up a wiki (any wiki, really) to make it more user-friendly and to structure content in a more helpful way. |

For this I can't use wikipedia itself, it's for an internal wiki (not visible for all). Yeah, I was a bit unsure whether the question was too broad or not. It is pretty much the whole thing (as in general guidelines for how to make a wiki portal as user-friendly as possible) I want guidance with. What would you recommend me doing? Split up the post into several questions, or something else? |
