dynamic ascending/ descending toggle button It is a bit hard to answer, can you provide an example of what you are working with? I.e.: do you have an spreadsheet alike table or a dropdown list with one key? Do you have one toggle icon for all columns? |

Icons for Like/Dislike/Regular As @Roland said, why do you need the regular button? Why would your users press the button? What will you do with the data? How is it visualizable in an interesting way? Views (like on the right of this question) is probably more interesting. |

Checkbox label negating I agree, it quite completely depends on the default state. For example, an admin checkbox [ ] disallow private messages for a certain user. The opposite, an [x] allow private messaging would be hard as it is a double "positive"; the checked checkbox and the 'allow'. |

Hide or disable form options? It is possible to use the option after an action on the current page or does the user need to take action somewhere else first? As you said "depend on their previous input", it made me think they can enable it only by taking action in some other place of the website. |
