How fluent should filters be? It's probably a good idea to use mathematical symbols for number filters. But I don't know if the usage of > and < with dates is a good idea :\ |

How fluent should filters be? The columns get generated dynamically, so I don't know if it's "URL", I just know it contains strings :\ |

Adding paging, sorting and filtering toolbars to a table Yes, you're probably right. My system allows for column-menus, which indicated by tiny down-arrows. I will probably use those for "initializing" purposes and after that the user can use the bars or the menus. |

Adding paging, sorting and filtering toolbars to a table Yes, this was my plan. I just wanted to see if there are some other ideas, which would suite better than mine. |

Adding paging, sorting and filtering toolbars to a table A dedicated group of users (online marketing people), but they probably won't use it on a daily basis. |

Adding paging, sorting and filtering toolbars to a table Problem is, those buttons would occupy as much space as the toolbars, because I would have to add them as a additional toolbar to the table :\ |

Developer with HCI background studying graphic design +1 for mentioning RIA, since native apps where more standardised from the beginning, designers hadn't much to do with it. But since making appealing websites always has been more of an industrial art RIA was the entrance point for many designers. |

Sorting tables after multiple columns lol, self-referencing citation, well played. But probably I will use the integer solution and a separate configure dialog. Thank you :) |

Sorting tables after multiple columns yeah, we had this before, this kinda worked. Problem was, after locking a bunch of columns, you can't see what are the sorting orders at one glance :\ |
