Since the early 90s I've always had a passion for design. This passion lead to taking up both a Graphic Design and a Front-End Design career path.

Currently I am a Front-End Designer for New York State Health and Human Services Cluster. I also have a BS in Electronic Marketing & Publishing.

My primary interest lay within Responsive Design, SASS, Color and Web Typography, small projects built on these technoligies are viewable via CODEPEN.

Yes it's a background image and it sadly does clip when reduced. I've tried to use what scss magic i have but it's not fairing out so well.

Ah alright. So your looking to tackle one input or multiple? I ask because it sounds like your trying to tackle multiple inputs.

I like @Sildoreth idea however I would add description text maybe inside/outside the search input describing what users can search for. If users are limited to certain key values it would be beneficial to mention.

Are users limited to what they can search?

comment How to motivate users give feedback?
If your discovering that you app has alot of bugs people probably aren't using your app hence why your feedback isn't getting traction.

comment Best Practice For Opening PDFs in a Datatable/Table?
Unfortunately I am unable to tackle the paging mechanism but it's good to know it's ok to open a new tab for the pdfs. That's all I needed to know.

Good Answer @ekapros! Our page is mainly for browsing pdfs but they are contained within a large data-table containing over 1,800 pdfs with supportive details (company name, address and etc.). The guerilla usability testing may be an option in the future to see how users react to find a solution. That or if I could find a way to have Data-tables recall the pagination number where the user left off when clicking the back button. I honestly don't think that is possible though lol.

I had thought users would be-able to grap the right-click or the ctrl-click but sadly many of them are not web savy. Trying to explain how to use these methods to many people from email to verbal is difficult. It's a struggle just like trying to convince users not to use IE7.
