I try my best to share the knowledge that I have come across with others to keep the knowledge cycle goin. I love the art of web design. Semantic, easy to use, awesome websites is what really gets me excited. I love HTML(5), CSS(3) Javascript (the good parts) and Wordpress with a strong focus on usability. I also love to read, bike, swim, and draw.

Forward and back buttons for navigating through images Yes that's true that some languages and cultures read from right to left. I guess in the end it is all about knowing the audience you are trying to hit. I have yet to please everyone that uses my site ;). |

Navigation above site header? I agree that my navigation might disappear when scrolling regardless of where it is, but my main concern is that the user knows where to look for it when they want to come back up and use it. The only reason I tried the nav this way is to attempt to break from the norm of nav under header site. |

Navigation above site header? Thank you, I agree that the way I have it laid out right now may give the user the impression of an inter-site nav instead of the intra-site nav. I think I may try something like your Alt2 example and see how that works out. I would +1 you but I don't have enough rep yet ;). Anyways, thanks a lot. |
