comment What should I call users who are not banned?
"Current Users" could also include "Banned" technically... I would call it "Active Users".

Thanks for the additional info, so pressing on the device back button does the same function as the "undo" button at the moment?

Yes. Can you give more info on your app and the function of the "Undo" button on that particular page? Perhaps there is a better way to improve the UX.

I think you just have to rely on the hardware button and do away with in-app buttons for now. Until Android device manufacturers remove those troublesome buttons which have big UX issues.

comment Should users be allowed to use any special character they want when creating a password?
@DaveAlger would you know if smartphone soft-keyboards have all the characters that exist on the desktop keyboards? If they are not the same, then it might be useful to exclude those characters that are not available in the soft-keyboard on the smartphones.

comment What cues can I use to nudge users away from setting extreme values on a slider?
Probably those test users are not the actual target users. They were just "testing" for the sake of testing, rather than trying to get the best result for their picture. If min and max values really produces unwanted results, then perhaps you could tweak those values at the back-end so that their effects are not too much.

comment “Standard” or “best” UI element for “turn offline” and “turn online”?
@DoktorJ It's never too late to start enforcing "best practices". Another option would be to add a word to to the buttons/action links to make it verbs e.g; "Make Online", "Offline It" etc. I think arrows might not be the best icons for the statuses, since "down arrow" might also mean server is experiencing difficulty and going down rather than totally offline.

comment Multilanguage strategy in Android app
1. Make your app auto-follow device's current selected language. 2. Give option in the "Settings" part of the app to change the language. This will be the best option.
