comment Fallback chain for Chinese languages
@VitalyMijiritsky Now that there is an upvoted answer here, leaving the question on UX brings awareness of the issue to website designers.

comment Fallback chain for Chinese languages
@Crissov The character mapping is not one-to-one. For example, traditional characters 隻 and 只 both map to the simplified character 只 (based on the fact that they are homophones in Mandarin). Therefore, transliteration is non-trivial.

@VitalyMijiritsky It might be a better fit on Chinese (debatable), but it doesn't appear to be off-topic on UX according to my interpretation of the help center, and therefore should not be a candidate for migration.

comment How should user unselect a date from a calender?
Could you provide more context? What is the purpose of the form, and why might one want to leave a date field empty?

No, don't delete the text labels! The meanings of the "5", "3", and AT&T look-alike logos aren't that obvious.

comment Alternative reward levels to “Gold, Silver, Bronze”?
My first reaction to this answer was "Huh?" But then I saw that Jimmery liked it. And then it made sense when I started stalking his Arqade profile, especially in light of this question. It's perfectly logical why you would want to avoid metals for reward levels, since they would be confused with specie currency. In this context, you may have given a brilliant answer to a truly crappy, vague question.

In particular, with the Fibonacci Sequence, subsequent entries will be approximately 1.6 times the previous one.
