comment Are people sick of logins?
You're not describing forced logins, but content locking by paid subscription. Getting their content indexed by google is a marketing tactic to gain more subscribers, but they don't want to show their content for free.

comment Video automatically playing on a home or landing page - studies and data
You won't find data on the effectiveness of video for landing pages. That is to broad. What you're looking for is effectiveness of different video messages and visual techniques. For that, you should speak to a professional video producer.

comment Is 'usability' enough for a company portal?
Difficult to see what is being asked here. You're asking if it's a valid argument, but I don't read anything that sounds like an argument. To me it sounds like you are rambling.

comment Why doesn't the Mac OSX finder have a Cut option?
@VincentvanScherpenseel that's true on most OS platforms. Moving a file to another volume is physically a copy. Moving in the same volume is a change of file indicator.

comment Do users care about https?
No, the transaction is not secured by Cloudflare. Only the HTTP connection is. The transaction from a user perspective is the financial transaction between consumer and merchant.

comment Best practices for multiple buttons
I don't think it's necessary to make the delete so visually intense with the red background. I saw that first, and then have to look for the other buttons. You have a confirm for the delete so why add more notice to the action? I'd make it in the same style as the "cancel" and "save as" links and keep them together.
