Simplest, cheapest solution for hosted A/B tests? Nice idea they've got, provided you only want to A/B test your Calls to Action. |

Are simultaneous tests on different stages of a multi-step form statistically independent? Thank you - a great answer, worth reading slowly and digesting. |

When does statistical significance matter? Wish I could star answers as well as questions! |

Are simultaneous tests on different stages of a multi-step form statistically independent? Good point. I need to be aware of possible inconstancies between say, styling or page layout variables on different pages. In fact I am thinking mainly of content variables which I will make it my business to ensure have no obvious inter-page affinities. I suspect I am just going to have to try this and see if subtle affinities emerge - but I'd love to know if anyone has already trodden this path... |

Correct terminology for “please the interviewer” bias? I like this - I'm going to use that Dian Fossey line, in conversation if not actually in my report |

Correct terminology for “please the interviewer” bias? Useful and interesting, but while I doubt that I will ever be able to fully cancel my own biases while user-testing, I'm more interested right now in the kind of bias that occurs from the participant's common-sense understanding of the test context, regardless of how carefully questions are phrased. |
