comment Better option to warn user about an existing name
My point was we(read designer) should never restrict our-self in the first draft we purpose to the dev, stakeholder or anybody else. That draft should be evaluated on functional, operational and economical feasibility before the implementation. Apologies for the misunderstanding.

comment How to show recommended fields in the form
I wholeheartedly agree with you. We should not put optional or recommended fields. But it is like if user fill optional or recommended fields he will get more refined results and we would be able to collect more personal data, which might be used in future for different purposes.

yes agree with @StefanWasserbauer about the similarity , just thinking is it okay to write recommended as a placeholder?

comment Interface question: how to show tabular data in best possible ways
Option two might create a rugged look and feel due to uneven number of fields per table. look closer to table 2 , they are not aligned at the bottom

comment Do users notice “don't show this again” checkboxes?
I will add a discount column just next to check box which will calculate and update discount dynamically upfront with some animation(fade in/out) to depict some action on the screen. You can also add tooltip on the discount stating the impact if some one select express delivery.

Oh! Application will be used on desktop computers with resolution >= 1024 X 768. i.e. all the latest wide screens.

comment Interface question: how to show tabular data in best possible ways
Tabbed approach might not work here as there would be 7-10 or more field-sets. And the above design is already inside a tabbed panel.

Viewable space is not consistent. In case of sample 1, user can see limited set of fields(read less); whereas, in sample 2, user can see lots more.

comment What is the pattern to show closely coupled data?
I can't post any example here, will post later. But as stated in pattern libraries, tab must be used for loosely coupled data only. Also, about, share and add to are child of a parent category(video). In my case I don't have any parent category. I've 4 closely coupled categories.

comment Help bubble next to a radio button
Could you please upload actual screen shot? I don't get what bubble actually is ? - If you are talking about the text misalignment then I would suggest to give left column a max width equals longest string. - Get rid of duplicate words

Navigation items on the headers are key points of your application and by using sticky header they will always be accessible to user no matter which location he is. Hence it enhance accessibility.

comment Buy Now Button Styling Best Practices? (Font, Color, Shape)
Thanks:) Red color is associated with warning and eagerness to touch/click (as per study red shirt wearing waitress gets more tip and same with red lipstick :) Even red color is also associated with weakness, when we see blood, most of the people get depressed. follow interesting articles here: cracked.com/…
