How to incorporate a “never” value on a slider? I've gone with this approach in the end. Thinking about it further, the user doesn't need control down to the day level, so having some sensible options to choose from is better. Using buttons for this works better as well. |

What would be a nice way to distinguish a user's items from other users' items? "ending the rounded rectangle with a color, works better than coloured dot indicator" - do you have any examples in mind that I can take a look at? I don't recall seeing this convention in use. |

What would be a nice way to distinguish a user's items from other users' items? @alexeypegov I tried to keep it farly generic so as not to confuse, but I see what you mean. I've added more detail. |

How to report outcomes of a background task to users? We don't really want two lists. I like your use of "partial" though - that is something we haven't considered before. |

How to best display a table of data with sub items? I've gone with something similar to this in the end, but without the column headers. |

How to best display a table of data with sub items? We have some mockups using colour (which I may add as an edit to the question), but the approach doesn't work well. We can't really use the tabbed route, as some datasheet have lots of items (> 50) which would translate into lots of tabs. |
