Yes, there could be a column called 'Actions' with edit, delete etc. that would trigger a lightbox.

comment Are there PhD topics for user experience?
@AlexFeinman - When you say they had no idea, do you mean as per the OP 'I want to do a PhD what could I do in this area?'? Genuinely surprised if this was the case!

While I agree you may not figure out the precise nuts and bolts of your PhD in the first year, I would also argue that you should have a reasonably clear idea of what you want to do before you start, and the OP is far more vague than I would expect a PhD candidate to be. This is from my experience in the UK, other countries may be different.

comment Why does backspace go back a page? This behavior is so frustrating!
@AaronHall, I'm assuming your ire is directed at the article rather than me for trying to help you. As the article states, Firefox does not require any additional installs.

comment Serif/sans-serif and memory
I would suggest that they are not more memorable if they are indeed easier to read. The psychological evidence suggests that the harder people have to work when encoding memory, the better that memory is retained.

This looks more relevant to an electrical engineering forum than UX.

All - I know it's a problem. I'm looking for evidence rather than opinion. I've been looking through WCAG 2.0 and guidelines for dyslexia, but no evidence yet.

@Leths that's kind of where I'm coming from! But I'm really looking for any evidence that it causes a problem, e.g. with accessibility or for people with dyslexia.
