comment Value of UX in E-Learning? | Case Studies Needed
Can't point to a case study (hence this is a comment not a response) but if challenged, I argued that the focus of the learner must be on the content: a crappy UX shifts their attention onto the interaction and away from the thing they should be focussed on.

comment Why have two mouse buttons when one is sufficient?
"Giving the average person a right mouse button is like giving a bald man a comb". This is a really horrible justification from Apple. They devolve a lot of the understanding to the user, so you might try alt, shift, ctrl, or some other combination of keys until you've learned. 2-button mice make it easier to separate out the manipulation from the management functionality: you have 2 options rather than a keyboard-full!

comment Optimising urinal use
Strange that this has been put on hold as physical design questions are also part of UX and asked here on a reasonably regular basis. There doesn't appear to be anything in the help centre suggesting that physical design is out of scope. Thanks to those who have answered, disappointed that the prudishness of admins shuts down questions like this.

Indeed! Apparently the Victorians had an image of a bee in the glaze much as these chaps have a fly. This was, I'm told, a Victorian joke, 'apis' being Latin for bee. (I feel I should apologise for the British at this point). Thanks - I think gamification is an important point to make!

Not at all - glad to see someone willing to engage with a serious question. Still interested to know of any research done into this area.

@DA01 Glad you feel that way. Do remember not everyone has been on here since day dot, nor that every 'bathroom question' is intended as a joke.
