I travel the world speaking at software conferences and teaching of programming topics for corporate clients. On the consulting side, I work with customers like Microsoft, HP, Intel, and Intuit, and I'm part of the Wintellect consultant group. I write for several publications, including CODE Magazine and TechTarget. My current UI obsession revolves around the Silverlight, Windows Phone 7 and WPF APIs. Are the Metro UI icons poor for usability? Yes, I shouldn't have said screen reader, I was thinking more about some of the new touch reader for blind people. |

Should the space between the checkbox and label be clickable? This is nice solution as it clearly denotes the boundaries of the clickable area. In fact, it starts to look like a simple button (with a checkbox within). |
