comment Why don't we auto-save for users instead of having them save manually?
Sometimes, I just want to edit a document just to see how it reads like, not necessarily want to commit the edit. Auto-save becomes a troublesome thing because it simply saves it for me, overwriting my original file.

comment How did multi-touch interfaces become natural when it should have been unnatural?
But the plasticine doesn't allow us to stretch its material with 2 fingers like how we could on multi-touch interfaces. The gesture is novel and is not natural.

comment What does it mean to 'humanise' interfaces?
Interestingly, just curious why isn't personification or anthropomorphism one of the properties of humanised interface?

comment What does it mean to 'humanise' interfaces?
Is anthropomorphism of user interfaces part of humanising an interface since it may "alter" the user experience and somewhat "humanise" the interface to a certain extend too?

comment Relationship between anthropomorphism and NUI?
@DigiKev The confusing thing is sometimes anthropomorphism seems to happen naturally without having the designer to furbish a computer with it. For instance, when a computer isn't working exactly as expected, people tend to say the computer is "crazy" or "cranky". People seems to perceive the computer with personalities. Would this be in some way a form of anthropomorphism? Here's a link that I read to avoid anthropomorphism on computers: uwf.edu/edd/internal/Documents/Anthropomorphism.htm
