Why do most public toilet doors open inwards? Way too lazy to look it up but this is 100% fire/architectural code. Doors pretty much always open toward the smaller room, or toward the inside if it's an exterior door. |

What is the best interaction pattern for entering a range on a mobile phone? This. Considering you want to use PhoneGap/Android, consider using jquerymobile.com. They have really good/easy to use support for stuff like this. |

What is the difference between a UX Designer and a Product Manager? I also feel like the PM is more concerned with the project as a whole, and the people involved, whereas a UX Designer really only cares about building the solution to best fit the customer's needs |

How to indicate which section you're in, in a flat list? I think colors is an excellent idea here (even if you don't use red/yellow/whatever - you could use colors that fit within your design/color scheme (e.g. varying intensities of blue). Another possibility is to have a tiny scrollbar always visible (think Google's new scrollbar), so users have an idea of where they are in the list |

How to organize a form with many fields? Is it completely necessary to display all of these fields on the same screen? It seems like there're a few separate sections here that all deal with different information (contact info, vehicle, contract, etc.), so it might be possible to break up the workflow a bit (as much as I loathe wizards). Also, are there instances where you could auto-fill data (e.g. they provide Zip code, you fill in City/State?) |

Is this site's colour scheme readable? Is there any particular reason there are 3 different fonts (header, intro, body) going on here? As stated, small serifs on a screen are bad for readability, but in most successful minimalist designs I've seen, there's one font (for simplicity/consistency's sake) |

What are the best practices for UX concerning Web 2.0 RIA applications? On top of that, there really are no "best practices" for UI/UX - that's why things like UX.SE exist :D |
