A better condom user experience The issue being neglected here is the stigma placed on condoms in many countries. Women who attempt to get their partner's to use condoms are, at best, shot down, and at worst, face physical violence in the face of such requests. This is obviously something that inhibits the use of condoms. It's good to remember that UX isn't just about design, it's also about understanding the cultural context in which your product is being used. who.int/gender/hiv_aids/en |

Greyed-Out vs Invisible That's a weird one. Also, I think they were trying to be cute, but does "Flavour" actually refer to the color? |

How can I keep up-to-date with the latest thinking about designing complex, rich applications? As someone who designs financial software, the issue that we have is that sometime it can be difficult to actually demo these applications without getting a login or account. Bank Simple was a good example of this - they showed a few screen shots for PR purposes, but it took months to get an actual login. |

Using stock imagery with sensitive subjects +1 for this because some of these images can actually be triggering for people who are survivors of abuse or violence. The last thing you want to do is trauma trigger someone who actually needs the information on your site. |

What other option do I have when my target users are not willing to participate in user research? Do you know why they aren't interested in participating? It might be beneficial to investigate that more deeply, and then see if you can't find a compelling way around that reluctance. |

Line breaks in form selections for mobile Those are both interesting ideas, thank you. It's definitely a serious issue as far as the UX is concerned. I'm going to look into Apple's product pages to investigate that as an option, thank you for your suggestions. |

Line breaks in form selections for mobile Yes, it's a regulatory thing, and we have to build a UI around it, which isn't ideal, but we're just taking the harm reduction approach. |

Line breaks in form selections for mobile These are personal security questions, so the user would want to refresh because they may have landed on a question that is too obscure for them to remember the answer to ("What was your childhood best friend's middle name?") |

Line breaks in form selections for mobile @yisela, my question is the bottom suggestion, with the refresh button, too unfamiliar to be usable? Is there another option that I'm missing? |
