What do you include in a site inventory report? Yes, it might. I'm not looking for a standardised way. I want to hear about how you use it in case I've missed out something. |

What do you include in a site inventory report? - All right. I've seen reports that list everything from meta tags to internal and external page links inside blog posts, related content lists or links to downloadable pdfs etc etc. The reports have been visualised in flow charts, mindmaps, lists etc. It really looks impressive but I curious to know why and when to use what. |

Using color in wireframes…is this a “no no”? I only use color for links. Everything else is grayscaled. |

Who are the most common visitor types to a web site? Yes, I understand your point. I asked the question to get an broad overview of the different visitors. It is of course necessary to dig deeper into the visitors behaviors and demographics. I feel that it is a good starting point when doing a workshop with the clients so that they could understand that they could communicate with more visitor types than just their customers. |

How to create a useful 500 internal server error page You mean it's rude? :) I believe the best way is to automatically send an email to the webmaster with the details (as I asked about here - webmasters.stackexchange.com/q/24386/12031) |

How does use in bright sunlight affect how a web site should be designed? @AaronMcIver - What I mean is that average users seldom take the time to customize their experience. |

Blinking, bouncing and flashing elements When a software needs my attention in both MacOs and Windows the system uses animation to get my attention and Im totally fine with it. But if a web site uses animation for a large portion of a page our banner blindness kicks in and we dont look at it. If the web site is more entertainment oriented animation could enhance the experience but if the visitor needs to solve problems the site should be more subtle. |

How does use in bright sunlight affect how a web site should be designed? Aaron - Thanks for the tip but I dont think it should be necessary to let the users adjust the parameters because they will not have the interest. I'm looking for a solution that is the most optimal for the majority of them. |
