About

An interface element that indicates the progress of an action by filling a percentage of a shape (often a rectangle or a bar) with a color. The percent of the bar that is filled reflects the progress (if the action is 25% complete, the progress bar will be 25% full).

Common examples of progress bars include web browsers that show how much of the page has been loaded, and uploaders that show how much of the file is uploaded.
