As a software engineer, I'm looking to dive into UI/UX to give my application users the optimal look and feel, and I was wondering if there are some agreed upon UI/UX 101 to get me up and running? The Must-know tools that all UI/UX people tend to use, blogs I must follow, forums I must subscribe too? Like learning Adobe AfterEffect & InDesign & Photoshop? What is the beginners must-have utility belt?
