I am not 100% sure, if this question is valid (I couldn't find a similar question) - please inform me, if it violates the code of this platform

My parents have been working on their companies website for the past months. They are quite happy with it and it's going to go live in the near future. I recently checked it out and thought that some improvements could be made.

I would be very grateful for any comments and suggestions on how to improve readability and design.

I personally am not too happy with:

  • the colors of the navigation pane on the left (I think they are too bright)
  • the typography (I think the font is too serious for a holiday business)
  • the formatting of the text (I would prefer "justification"
  • the layout of the subnavigation (the links in grey)

While this is a valid UX question, we don't allow review type question on this site as they are generally only useful to the person asking them and not to future readers.
