I am willing to learn typography and I need to find a tutorial which explains typography particularly in the context of web development and its relationship with usability can somebody point to some good resources?

Here is an excellent starting point for reading up on typography: webdesignledger.com/freebies/7-free-typography-ebooks – Marko Nikolovski Apr 14 '12 at 18:48
If you're looking for a great general starter resource, The Smashing Book 1 has a whole chapter on typography and it's very good. I closed the question as our format doesn't fit the "what do you guys like" sort of question well. – Ben Brocka Apr 14 '12 at 19:13
