User Experience Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for user experience researchers and experts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am planning to create a nice free small application and I need your expert opinion about whether this application would be useful or not. Here we go:

Details about the Application

Imagine you are surfing and you come across a nice thought or a picture and you need to save it temporarily. You will need to open a notepad or other program to save it.

Wouldn't it be useful if you had a small app always there with you to save any type of data temporarily and then retrieve it anytime!

An app that would enable you to gather info such as important texts, pics for your presentation without going to your folder and saving it there.

Would such kind of app be useful for users!

You mean Evernote evernote.com ? ;) –  msanford Mar 9 '12 at 14:51

if a user drop downs an image from an internet explorer then i would save it as a file.In such case there is no duplication. drag drop of a file which is within the users computer would duplicate the file!! –  Anirudha Mar 9 '12 at 14:52

I @Anirudha I'm afraid this isn't a good fit for a Q&A website, we can't provide you with reviews and opinions, only answers to specific questions. If you want to rephrase your question to be more specific (such asking for advice on how best to structure or display a specific element of the application) then we'd be happy to reopen the question, (or accept a new fresh one) but as it is it's not suitable for this site I'm afraid. –  JonW Mar 9 '12 at 14:54
